Free Puzzles and Card Games (freeware games)There is a wealth of freeware games available on the Internet. Free games are available in three forms: freeware, shareware and demos. With freeware, the game is available for no charge. With shareware, you are granted a certain amount of time or number of uses to see if you like the software. After that point, you are asked to pay for it. Sometimes only a few features work on the shareware version, other times it will be disabled after the trial period. With demos, you typically receive the first level or so of a game to try it out. You can find more games by searching under "freeware" or "free games" in any search engine. You should always scan files you download to your computer with an anti-virus program before opening them.
